ARE YOU LISTENING? - 2024 COUTURE

"Are You Listening?" is a continuation of "A letter of shared skin" challenges the dominance of sight in fashion. Instead of asking the audience to simply look, it asks them to feel, imagine, and question how we form thoughts through our senses. The collection explores the idea that listening extends beyond hearing, it is an act of paying attention to texture, movement, memory, and emotion.

Soft layers of tulle represent whispers, echoes, and the unseen space between words. Shells become physical recordings of sound, carrying the memory and symbolizing voices preserved over time. Knitted textures evoke comfort, human touch, and the intimate language of handmade craft. Together, these materials create garments that invite sensory curiosity rather than immediate visual understanding.

The silhouettes move between fragility and protection. Billowing clouds of tulle float around the body, while structured knitted forms anchor each look. Creating subtle sounds and emotional feelings as the wearer walks, turning each garment into an instrument that communicates without speech.
